Pursued by Bear / Dunham Cellars
Partnering with Kyle MacLachlan to launch and grow his signature wine label with Dunham Cellars was a rewarding collaboration spanning 15 years. The name "Pursued by Bear" nods to one of Shakespeare’s most famous stage directions —Exit, pursued by a bear, from The Winter’s Tale (Act III, Scene III) — infusing the brand with wit and dramatic flair. My work included designing the full range of wine packaging, from labels for five varietals to supporting promotional materials such as tasting notes, brochures, and sales collateral. Each label was crafted to capture the personality of the wine while maintaining a cohesive identity, blending refined typography, illustration, and production techniques that elevated the bottles into collectible objects and reinforced the brand’s storytelling.
